HISTORY, OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

The Journal was founded in 2002.

English-language renaming:

2002 - 2020 - Journal of Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation

2020 – to present - Bulletin of Rehabilitation Medicine

Since 2006, the journal "Bulletin of Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation" has been included in the List of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals where the main scientific results of the doctoral and candidate degrees dissertations (VAK list) are subject to publishing.

The Journal is registered by the Federal Service for Media Law Compliance and Cultural Heritage, media registration certificate PI No. 77-13601 dated 09/20/2002.

Russian Scientific Center for Restorative Medicine and Balneology of the Federal Agency for Health and Social Development" (now - National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology).

Publisher:

Publishing Department of the National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology.

The Journal is endorsed by the National Association of Experts in Sanatorium and Resort Treatment.

Copyright:

According to the license agreement signed by the authors, the authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to use the article created by the authors as soon as this agreement enters into force.

All published manuscripts are subject to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License .

Management and editorial policy:

The Journal policies follow the principles of transparency and best practices established by the following documents: Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting , Editing , and publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals (ICMJE) and Principles of Transparency and best practice in Scholarly Publishing (joint statement COPE, DOAJ, WAME, and OASPA)

A decision on publication of an article is made exclusively on the basis of its quality and appropriate peer review. All editorial decisions are made without any intervention of the owner or affiliated organizations and irrespective of financial, political or personal relations of the editor-in-chief and members of the editorial board.

The Editor-in-Chief has the final say in terms of the Journal branding and publication of promotional content or sponsored issues. The Editor-in-Chief is also provided with the opportunity to directly address the first persons of the Owner in case of undecidable contradictions.

The Journal regularly audits its editorial and ethical policies with the involvement of independent experts in the field of medical scientific periodicals and new members of the Advisory Board for compliance with the best international standards and practices in the development and maintenance of a transparent and ethical process with respect to editors, authors and reviewers.

Financing:

The Journal's funding methods and sources of income include: advertising, sponsorship by the academic societies under whose auspices the Journal is published, and print subscriptions.

National Association of Experts in Spa Treatment is a non-profit organization aimed at consolidating leading experts in the spa industry to represent and protect common professional interests, coordinate their activities, as well as to develop medical, educational and public awareness activities on the territory of Russia, promote scientific research in the field of spa treatment. Aim: to consolidate the professional community.
